The Smooth Spot records and engineers numerous demos and other musical projects. Over the past years, the studio has catered to opera singers, musical theater and cabaret performers, pop artists, song writers and film makers. Spacious high ceilings make for superb natural acoustics, and the comfortable relaxed setting will enhance any recording experience. Below are services offered at the Smooth Spot Recording Studio:

Accompanist/Vocal Coach
Singers enjoy working with Michael Walsh on their repertoire in the spacious and comfortable Smooth Spot studio. From his experience with The Smooth Spot Orchestra and playing at Sam’s Restaurant and piano bar, he has had the opportunity to work with singers in a large variety of musical styles. Though his area of expertise is in pop music stylings, his eclectic background and vast library of music, are a great benefit to many singers. Rehearsing with Michael in The Smooth Spot, singers also have the opportunity to become comfortable working with microphones so that they become an integrated part of the singer’s performance. Michael is patient and fun and enjoys helping singers find their own voice and the music that lets them shine. |
